
On April 29, 2024, the Institute of International and Security Studies hosted an open lecture entitled “Donald Trump as a Role Model for European Right-Wing Leaders,” which Prof. Marco Morini of Sapienza University of Rome delivered.
Marco Morini is an assistant professor at Sapienza University of Rome (Italy). He was a fellow of the Jean Monnet Program at the Robert Schuman Center (European University Institute), was employed as an assistant professor at the International University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and was a fellow at Macquarie University (Australia). He is the author of Lessons from Trump’s Political Communication: How to Dominate the Media Environment, London: Palgrave (2020). He is also the author of a chapter entitled The Not Too Surprising Democratic Retention of the Senate in a monograph edited by Renata Duda and Maciej Turek entitled The Crossroads Elections. European Perspectives on the 2022 U.S. Midterm Elections, Routledge 2024.
