On June 6, the Institute for International and Security Studies hosted a lecture by Prof. Stephen Farnsworth entitled Political Humor and U.S. Presidential Elections.
Stephen J. Farnsworth is a political science and international relations professor and director of the Center for Leadership and Media Studies at the University of Mary Washington in Virginia. In the spring of 2024, as a Fulbright Scholar, he is in Poland at the University of Warsaw.

Prof. Farnsworth is co-author of the monograph Late-Night in Washington: Political Humor and the American Presidency, published in 2024 by Routledge Publishing.
