A summer school for participants in the Erasmus Mundus: European Master in Global Studies program was held in Bad Hersfeld, Germany, from July 4-7, 2024. The Erasmus Mundus Global Studies (EMGS) program is an international, interdisciplinary master’s program offering comprehensive training in analysing globalization processes. EMGS is run by a consortium of five European universities in Leipzig, Vienna, Breslau, Roskilde and Ghent in cooperation with partners from around the world. The program enables students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge, preparing them for academic careers and work in international organizations, NGOs and the private sector. Participants can study at different universities, allowing them to understand global phenomena from multiple perspectives.
Students participating in this year’s summer school had the opportunity to attend workshops and lectures given by academics from participating universities. The classes aimed to deepen their knowledge of global studies and learn about the research methodology conducted within Global Studies. The University of Wroclaw was represented at the event by Prof. Marek Wroblewski and Dr. Justyna Arendarska.
