The Institute of International and Security Studies (ISMB) is a partner of the Blended Intensive Programme Cultural Diversity: Foundations, Frameworks, and Practices, which will be carried out within the framework of the Arqus alliance. The main objective of the BIP Cultural Diversity project is to view cultural diversity as a resource and potential. The program allows participants to explore theories, tools, and practical examples related to educational and policy approaches in culturally diverse contexts.
By analyzing their experiences and employing an autobiographical approach, participants will develop self-awareness regarding cultural processes, identity, and diversity. During the course, they will delve into dialogical, transformative, and intercultural pedagogies. Particular attention will be paid to linguistic diversity and the impact of migration on global language repertoires.
The project is coordinated by the University of Padua (DiSLL – Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies, CIRSIM – Interdepartmental Centre for Research on Intercultural Studies and Migrations) with additional partners including the University of Granada and the University of Minho.
The program is designed for students enrolled in Polish- and English-taught master’s programs in International Relations.
