
On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, the Institute of International and Security Studies at the University of Wrocław hosted a special meeting with Catalina Cullas, Ambassador and Plenipotentiary of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Relations with EU Member States, Cross-Border, and Regional Cooperation.
Catalina Cullas is a distinguished diplomat with extensive experience, having served at German embassies in Madrid, Kyiv, and Paris. She also coordinated international cultural and media projects across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Australia/Oceania. Since August 2022, she has held the role of Ambassador and Plenipotentiary for EU cooperation within the German MFA.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to hear her insights on Polish-German relations, regional cooperation, and the challenges facing the European Union. The event, conducted in English, featured an open conversation format that allowed for questions and active participation in the discussion.
