On April 28, 2025, the Institute of International and Security Studies at the University of Wrocław hosted an open lecture by Prof. Myunghee Kim from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, USA.
The lecture, titled “Multiculturalism, Race, and Ethnicity in the Electoral Behavior and Voting Patterns of Americans,” was part of the IDUB Long-Term Visits project, implemented under the strategic initiatives of the University of Wrocław.
About the Speaker:
Prof. Myunghee Kim is a scholar specialising in comparative politics, political institutions, electoral behaviour, public opinion, as well as U.S. politics and the politics of Asian countries. She is affiliated with the School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
In her most recent research, Prof. Kim focuses on the role of culture, race, and ethnicity in shaping American political attitudes and voting patterns. Her work explores how the diversity of American society influences democratic processes and decision-making at the ballot box.
