On 17 December 2025, the Institute of International and Security Studies at the University of Wrocław hosted an online lecture entitled “A Neuroscience Approach for Navigating Change through the Lens of Conflict.” The guest speaker was Susan Levin, a lecturer in the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution programme at Columbia University (School of Professional Studies), specialising in conflict complexity and change management.

During the event, the speaker explained how a neuroscience perspective can enhance the understanding of conflict dynamics and support more effective decision-making in times of change. A discussion and a Q&A session followed the lecture. More than 80 students from the Institute of International and Security Studies participated in the event, confirming strong interest in the topic within the academic community.
