On 9 March 2026, the Institute of International Studies and Security hosted Assoc. Prof. Dr Gulzhanat Tayauova, Vice-Rector for External Relations and Doctorate at Turan University, Kazakhstan.

The meeting was attended by:

Prof. Krzysztof Kociubiński – Director of the Institute,

Dr Marek Musioł – Deputy Director for International Cooperation,

Dr Tomasz Waśkiel – Erasmus+ Programme Coordinator.

During the visit, the participants discussed general frameworks for cooperation, including the possibility of developing joint study programmes at all levels of higher education. Work was also initiated on implementing a cooperation agreement between the two universities.
