Farnsworth is a political science and international relations professor and director of the Center for Leadership and Media Studies at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.umw.edu\/\">University of Mary Washington<\/a> in Virginia. In the spring of 2024, as a <a href=\"https:\/\/fulbrightscholars.org\/\">Fulbright Scholar<\/a>, he is in Poland at the University of Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Farnsworth is co-author of the monograph Late-Night in Washington: Political Humor and the American Presidency, published in 2024 by Routledge Publishing.<br>Prof. Farnsworth&#8217;s home page: <a
